Snitch

This movie is loosely based on a true story and if you are going to see this movie so that you can see The Rock in full action mode ,Fagetaboutit! The Rock is trying to be a movie star and that is why he is now Dwayne Johnson.
He should take notes from Arnold, and Sly (Arnold in Junior and Sly in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot!). Give us action and kick ass, forget about trying to be an actor.
Anyway this movie is not bad but it is too slow. It was great however seeing Shane, from The Walking Dead in a major movie. He pretty much acts like Shane in Snitch, so Walking Dead fans will like this movie.
The story is about a father, The Rock, who goes undercover for the DEA in order to free his son who was imprisoned after being set up in drug deal.

Verdict:
I liked it even with all it's faults. Keep in mind that I am a HUGE Walking Dead fan. Check out Shane.

A Good Day To Die Hard

Ok here we go.
Die Hard is the franchise that will not die and this version is like Blade Runner Oscar Pistorius on his last legs. John McClaine has a son and he goes to Russia to help him?! They couldn't come up with a better script? Did Bruce Willis just want to get a free vacation to Russia? Because that's what it feels like. He even says that in the movie. Repeatedly. They released this movie during the lowest premiere season of the year because this would not hold up to all the great action movies coming out this summer (GI Joe, Fast & The Furious 6, Iron Man 3, etc.)
So do not expect this movie to come close to the prior Die Hard movies. This was a big miss. Similar to Sex and the City 2.
The ending of the movie when the villains try to kill Bruce and his son is ludicrous!!
After seeing this sorry excuse for an action movie I returned home and Die Hard 4 was playing on USA Network. Die Hard 4 was OK but after seeing Die Hard 5 seeing Die Hard 4 again with constant commercials was exciting. I even forgot that Justified's Timothy Olyphant was the villain. He was excellent.
So in conclusion DO NOT GO TO SEE THIS CRAP!

Verdict:
Here are the rankings of the best Die Hard movies:
1) Die Hard #1 (Bruce Willis becomes an action star. It also had a GREAT villain.)
2) Die Hard #3 (Samuel Jackson, Bruce Willis, and NYC you can't go wrong.)
3) Die Hard # 4 (crisp and current. Olyphant and the Asian chick that Willis shoves down an elevator with an SUV. Great scene!)
4) Die Hard #2 ( silly airport action but better than Die Hard #5)

Identity Thief

What can you say about Melissa McCarthy? Say what you will but she is a Superstar and that is why everyone is lining up to be in a movie with her. Screw Rex Reed, I thought he was dead?! I never watched
Melissa's stupid TV show but after Bridesmaids she can do no wrong.
The story is about a mild-mannered businessman Sandy Patterson, played by Jason Bateman, who travels from Denver to Miami to confront the deceptively harmless-looking woman, Melissa McCarthy, who has been living it up after stealing Sandy's identity. Bateman is fine as the straight man and the laughs are limited but this is still a good showcase for Melissa's talents. One of the surprises of the movie is from the TV show Modern Family who plays against type.

Verdict: I anticipate and will watch any movie she stars in.
Yeah I am a fan but I laughed alot watching this movie.

Parker

I wanted action, and I got it. I wanted to see violence (it was “R” rated), I got it, I wanted to see how J-Lo was holding up, I got that as well.
If you don’t want any of the above then skip this movie.
For the rest of you this was one of Jason Statham’s best movie and could possibly become a franchise for him.
Critics hated this movie and fans stayed away, but take another look and just give J-Lo a chance. She was poorly miscast in this role but I give her props for trying.
What the story is about does not matter, its Jason Statham as Bruce Lee, Steve McQueen, and Clint Eastwood all rolled into one.
Director Taylor Hackford gave us An Officer and a Gentleman, Ray, and The Devils Advocate. Add Parker to this group of winners.

Verdict:
If you liked Faster with The Rock, you will love Parker.
