The Wolf of Wall Street

It took me awhile to sit down and write this review because I was amazed on how great a movie it was.
The movie is based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government. Leonardo DiCaprio gives the performance of his lifetime and Martin Scorsese creates a movie that stands up to his best films. That’s how good this movie is.

Jonah Hill proves once again that he is worthy of “A” List material.
Leo DiCaprio should win the Oscar because Matthew McConaughey was good in his brief cameo in Wall St. but should not win the Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club. Leo gives the performance of his life.

Margot Robbie also gives a breakthrough performance as Leo’s 2nd wife.

The movie is 3 hrs long but it’s so good it doesn’t feel like it.
Verdict:
This is Leo’s Raging Bull. Instant Classic for the ages.

Robocop

The original Robocop gave you things on screen that you had never seen prior to the premiere.
The movie was ahead of it's time.
This new version was not even necessary based on my viewing.
In 2028 Detroit, when Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman from The Killing) - a loving husband, father and good cop - is critically injured in the line of duty, the multinational conglomerate OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer.
The story is similar to the original even down to some of the robots that look exactly as they did back in the day.
There are a few "A"List actors in it "Michael Keaton, Samuel Jackson, and Gary Oldman but they can't save this movie.

Verdict:
Complete Rubbish! Even Robocop 2 is better than this movie.
