Taken 2

Taken fans have waited 2 years for this sequel and they pretty much get a so so movie. Don’t get me wrong, Liam Neeson is still great as retired CIA operative Bryan Mills, and the character he plays delivers in spades but there are not a lot of surprises.
This time they (the father of the men he killed in Taken) kidnap Neeson and his wife in Istanbul (would have worked better in the States but directors love scenic locals). Also this time his daughter wants to help.
The action is good but it does not have you on the edge of your seat like the first Taken movie.

Verdict:

This is still a decent action flick but it will make you want to go back and re-watch the first movie. What do you think? Was this movie disappointing?
