This is an underdog story that has been done many times before.
I am a big fan of the pairing of Vaughn and Owen but this script is weak. Will Ferrell makes a cameo appearance, which is now expected in these “frat boy” comedies.
The Internship takes place at Google but you really don’t get to learn much about new technology such as Google glasses which would have been a cool addition.
There are also not too many funny moments. Most of them you have already seen in the trailer. Instead of the Internship they should have done Wedding Crashers part 2 where the guys are still not married and still crashing weddings.
Verdict:
Huge disappointment! These guys still have chemistry and I would like to see them together again with a better script. They should not make the mistake that Will Smith made with Kevin James. They were great in Hitch but they have yet to make another movie together.
