2 Guns is about a DEA agent played by Denzel, and a naval intelligence officer played by Mark Wahlberg, who find themselves on the run after a botched attempt to infiltrate a drug cartel. They later learn the secret of their shaky alliance: Neither knew that the other was an undercover agent.
The chemistry is solid between Denzel and
Walberg and the supporting cast of actors are top shelf. Mark Walhberg has
grown as an actor from when he was talking to plants in the movie The
Happening. My only concern with this movie is the casting of Paula Patton. When will Paula Patton
take acting lessons?? She is horrible and I have said this before. She is a
stunning beauty but that’s it. SHE CANNOT ACT!
She should go see Cate Blanchett in Blue
Jasmine and realize how far she has to go to before she takes on another role.
Verdict:One of the most entertaining summer popcorn action flicks I have seen so far this year.

I enjoyed Two Guns, but I was thinkin the same thing with respect to Pauka Patton. A beautiful sister who needs a year or so off to develop her craft and stop taking roles as the token black girl. The only role I enjoyed her in was in Precious. She needs to dig!!
