After seeing the first version of this movie I didn't think there was much more to say. I was wrong, Tyler Perry has found his movie franchise. WDIGM2 is so good I can see 2 more movies being made with this great cast of characters. The story takes the four couples from the first movie, reunites them in the Bahamas, and they spend time analyzing their marriages with disastrous results. Tasha Smith as Angela steals the movie from everyone with her over the top performance. She is EXCELLENT and should be nominated. I do think that Perry should develop a television show for her and her husband in the movie, Marcus, Michael Jai White.
Janet Jackson and the other stars also manage to give solid performances. Perry does not really get into Janet's character's background so expect to see why she is such a BITCH in WDIGM3.
The movie runs a bit long and is not for everyone.
VERDICT: Must see for Tasha Smith's excellent and funny scenes. A Star is Born!

Tasha was very annoying to me on the second one. SORRY but it was too over the top.
Now JANET stole the movie.Her performance was mind blowing. She really played the hell out of her role.She really deserves to win as many awards as possible for this role.And Patrisha was not a BITCH she was a woman who was struck by trageady and didnt know how to cope with life after the death of her son.It was really sad situration for both her and her husband Gavin. Janet won a NAACP award for her performance in WDIGM and her performance in the second film is 10000000x better then the first.
