Yes Bradley Cooper has charisma and he can lead a movie but you must have a limited bandwidth to enjoy this movie.
The movie is about a writer who discovers a top-secret drug which bestows him with super human abilities.
The story works on some levels but there are too many gaps and the audience is suppose to close them. The star's narrative gets annoying halfway through the movie.
The great Robert DiNiro does not show up in this movie.
What shows up is the shell of a great actor who is just showing up for a paycheck to keep his TriBeCa movie festival afloat.
In one scene DiNiro is manhandled by Cooper and all I could do is cringe.
Verdict:
Wait for Hangover 2.
